Leicester Tiger comes to Brussels!

Last week a group of East Midlands brewers brought their wares to show-case them in Brussels, and to discuss issues facing the brewing industry with EU legislators.  

Everards of Leicester brought some very welcome samples of their famous Tiger Beer.  Pictured are Everards’ Operations Director Nick Arthur with East Midlands MEPs Emma McClarkin and Roger Helmer.
 
Commenting on the event, Emma McClarkin said: “Like many of my constituents I have a soft spot for local pubs and local brewers.  It’s important that MEPs listen to the concerns of the industry as it faces difficult times, and competition from the supermarkets.” 

Mr Helmer added, “I thoroughly enjoyed my glass of Tiger in Brussels – home away from home!”
