“I am delighted that The Innovation Centre has secured EU funding to invest in Northampton. Northampton is becoming a hive of innovation and I am excited to see what the future holds.”
Cllr Jim Harker, Leader of Northamptonshire County Council, said:
“I’m delighted to welcome Emma McClarkin MEP: we’re proud of all the hard work that’s been going on in recent years to regenerate Northampton and the wider county to bring prosperity to the people of Northamptonshire.
“Increasingly we’re working more collaboratively with our partners to bring about real change, planning for the future and attracting funding. This tour of the county will showcase just what can be achieved by working together rather than in isolation.
“We very much appreciate the support that our MEPs give us in the negotiations we have on behalf of the County Council for European funding.”
