Euro MP Emma McClarkin supports Michael Potter’s Positive Campaign

In over a month of active campaigning in heavy rain and gale force winds, the sun finally came out to welcome Conservative Member of the European Parliament, Emma McClarkin to Braunstone Town.

Emma joined South Leicestershire Conservative activists, campaigning in the Ravenhurst and Fosse ward by-election, which will be held on Thursday (28th).  Emma was “delighted and excited” to join Michael Potter’s positive campaign.  Michael said’ “It was a pleasure to welcome Emma to Braunstone.”

During her visit, Emma had an opportunity to speak to a number of residents on their doorsteps about local, national and EU issues.  One local resident said, “It was great to meet Emma face to face and talk about some of the issues that concern me about what’s going on in Europe right now.”
