Emma McClarkin to host Sports Conference
7th December, 2010Emma McClarkin MEP, Conservative Member of the European Parliament for the East Midlands is to host a United Nations meeting in Brussels which sets out to bring nations together to use the power of sport to enhance world – wide development.
The European meeting on 8th Decedmber, hosted by Emma McClarkin will concentrate on 3 strategic priorities;
Child protection in sport, Sport to strengthen Child and Youth Education, and Sport to enhance employment opportunities.
Speaking on the eve of the Conference, Miss McClarkin said; “We are taking every opportunity to encourage the use of sport to bring people together. Sport is a powerful tool which helps people to develop skills, enhance their qualifications, and has the potential to create better lives for people across the world.”
